Workshop with Employers Organized by AESM

On the 12th of December 2017 the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova organized a workshop with representatives of the Moldovan financial and banking sector to discuss the main challenges and opportunities for the sector as well as the impact of FinTech. The development of Master programmes in the subject area was also addressed. Strengths, weaknesses, as well as opportunities for the reform of Master programmes in finance were discussed. Local Kick-off Meeting at Russian-Armenian University (RAU)

On the 12th of December 2017 at the Russian-Armenian University (RAU) a local working meeting of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building project “Reforming Master Programmes in Finance in Armenia and Moldova” (REFINE) took place. During this meeting the milestones of all work packages were presented. Moreover, the aims, tasks and the organization of work package 6 on “Quality Assurance” (for which RAU is responsible) were presented. Local Kick-off Meeting of REFINE at Comrat State University

On the 1st of December 2017 the Comrat State University held a local meeting with teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics. During this meeting the speakers introduced the Erasmus+ Capacity Building Project “Reforming Master Programmes in Finance in Armenia and Moldova” (REFINE). Local REFINE Kick-off Meeting in Moldova

On 29 November 2017 the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (AESM) organised a local kick-off meeting for the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education Project “Reforming Master Programmes in Finance in Armenia and Moldova” (REFINE). Representatives of AESM, the Moldova State University (MSU) and the Comrat State University (KDU) participated in the event which took place in Chișinău.

REFINE Kick-off Meeting Held Successfully

The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education Project “Reforming Master Programmes in Finance in Armenia and Moldova” (REFINE) was held successfully on 22 and 23 November 2017. The meeting took place at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna (Austria) and representatives of all ten partner institutions from the EU, Armenia and Moldova participated. The REFINE project aims to promote the quality and practice-relevance of six existing Master (MA) programmes in Finance in Armenia and Moldova through targeted reforms.
